Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios has opened up about his relationship with TikTok star Alix Earle, calling her “incredible” and revealing that his coach, Mike McDaniel, loves to “chirp” him about her.
Berrios made the comments in a recent interview with PEOPLE, where he also discussed how he enjoys supporting Earle’s career. “This is her career,” he said. “This is what she loves to do. And so, to me, it never gets old, and it never gets boring. Honestly, it’s fun. I enjoy it.”
Earle and Berrios first sparked dating rumors in May 2023, when they were spotted together at a Miami restaurant. They made their red carpet debut at the 2023 ESPY Awards in July, but Earle maintained that they were not exclusive. However, she finally confirmed their relationship in November 2023.
In the interview, Berrios was asked how much “real estate” Earle gets in terms of discussions amongst his teammates and coach. “She’s incredible,” he prefaced. “Coach McDaniel loves to chirp and loves to chirp me about that. That’s all I’m gonna say.”
He added that although Earle is up for discussion, McDaniel has not implemented her name into a play. “I’m not sure if Coach has gotten that creative yet,” Berrios said. “But there is some real estate, at least in his mind, to throw around whenever he wants of that. Absolutely.”
Earle has also been open about her relationship with Berrios on social media. In a recent TikTok, she showed how she got glam for one of his Miami games. She also opened up about meeting his mom.
“I met his mom!” she captioned the video. “She’s so sweet and made me feel so welcome. I’m so lucky to have her in my life.”
It seems like Berrios and Earle are happy and thriving in their relationship. Only time will tell if they’ll walk down the aisle, but for now, they’re enjoying each other’s company and supporting each other’s careers.

In the interview, Berrios spoke about how he enjoys supporting Earle’s career. “This is her career,” he said. “This is what she loves to do. And so, to me, it never gets old, and it never gets boring. Honestly, it’s fun. I enjoy it.”
He added that he’s learned a lot from Earle about the world of social media. “I think it’s been interesting for me to see the other side of things,” he said. “I’ve learned a lot about social media from her, and I think it’s been really helpful for me to understand her world a little bit better.”
Earle has been a successful TikTok star, amassing over 5 million followers. She’s also been able to use her platform to promote brands and products.
Berrios on His Relationship with Coach McDaniel
Berrios also spoke about his relationship with his coach, Mike McDaniel. He said that McDaniel is a “great guy” and that he’s learned a lot from him.
“He’s a great coach,” Berrios said. “He’s very passionate about the game, and he’s always pushing us to be our best. I’ve learned a lot from him, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to play for him.”
McDaniel is in his first season as the head coach of the Dolphins. He previously served as the offensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers.

Only time will tell what the future holds for Berrios and Earle’s relationship. But for now, they seem to be happy and content. They’re both successful in their respective careers, and they seem to be enjoying each other’s company.
