Lulu, the vivacious and fashion-obsessed star of Nickelodeon’s hit series “True Jackson, VP,” is back in the spotlight, reminiscing about her time on the show and sharing her thoughts on its lasting impact.
In a recent interview, Lulu, now 32, reflected on her breakout role as True Jackson, a teenage fashion prodigy who becomes the vice president of a major fashion label. “I was just 16 years old when I got the part,” she recalls. “I was so excited to be a part of something so special.”
“True Jackson, VP” ran for four seasons from 2008 to 2011, garnering critical acclaim and a devoted fan base. The show was praised for its positive messages about self-acceptance, friendship, and following your dreams.
Lulu credits the show’s success to its relatable characters, fun storylines, and strong female leads. “I think people connected with True because she was a flawed but lovable character,” she says. “She was smart, ambitious, and always up for a challenge.”
